چکیده
Salicylic acid (SA) is known to be involved in the immunity against Clavibacter michiganensis ssp. (Cmm) that causes bacterial canker tomato. To identify candidate genes associated with SA-inducible Cmm resistance, transcriptome analysis was conducted via RNA sequencing tomato plants treated SA. SA treatment upregulated various defense-associated genes, such as PR and GST cotyledons. A comparison of SA- Cmm-responsive revealed both infection commonly a large number genes. Gene Ontology (GO) indicated GO terms plant were over-represented Cmm-induced The downregulated by cell cycle may growth trade-off through division. After treatment, several proteins predicted play role immune signaling, resistance gene analogs, Ca2+ sensors, WRKY transcription factors, transcriptionally upregulated. W-box element, which targeted WRKYs, promoter regions infection, supporting speculation WRKYs are important for SA-mediated Cmm. Prediction protein–protein interactions suggested encoding receptor-like kinases EF-hand an signaling. Thus, identified.

Salicylic Acid Protects Photosynthesis against Cadmium Toxicity in Pea Plants
In the present study we have investigated the possible mediatory role of salicylic acid (SA) in protecting photosynthesis against cadmium (Cd) toxicity. The exposure of pea plants to increasing Cd concentrations (0.5, 1.0, 2.0 and 5.0 µM) during early stages of their establishment caused a gradual decrease in shoot and root fresh weight accumulation, the rate of CO 2 fixation and the activity o...
متن کاملSalicylic Acid Is Involved in the Basal Resistance of Tomato Plants to Citrus Exocortis Viroid and Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus
Tomato plants expressing the NahG transgene, which prevents accumulation of endogenous salicylic acid (SA), were used to study the importance of the SA signalling pathway in basal defence against Citrus Exocortis Viroid (CEVd) or Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus (TSWV). The lack of SA accumulation in the CEVd- or TSWV-infected NahG tomato plants led to an early and dramatic disease phenotype, as compa...
متن کاملRole of Salicylic Acid in Tomato Defense against Cotton Bollworm, Helicoverpa
We investigated the role of the salicylic acid (SA) signaling pathway in defense responses of tomato plants to the herbivore, cotton bollworm. After exposure to the cotton bollworm, tomato leaves rapidly accumulated a high level of SA. The transcription of PR1 and BGL2 genes, the marker genes of SA pathway, was up-regulated. An enhanced endogenous SA level was accompanied by an increase in the ...

متن کاملInduced salinity tolerance and altered ion storage factor in Hordeum vulgare plants upon salicylic-acid priming
AbstractThis study was undertaken to better understand the probable mechanisms of salt stress tolerance induced by seed priming of salicylic acid (SA) in barley. The barley seeds were pre-soaked by SA or water and then sown under different saline watering regimes including 0.62 (tapwater), 5, 10 and 15 dS m-1 in petri dishes and trend of water absorbing, seedling growth, germination rate and pe...
